60-word bio
Sunny Patneedi builds tools and teaches practical methods that help people explain decisions, test their work, and improve what they make with AI. His work keeps two questions distinct: does the project work, and does its creator understand it? He founded SayMake, an AI-supported maker studio for young people, after two decades building software systems at Apple, Microsoft, and Salesforce.
150-word bio
Sunny Patneedi builds tools and teaches practical methods that help people build with AI while understanding, testing, and improving what they make. His work asks: when AI helps someone finish a project, how do we know they became more capable? He keeps evidence that a project works separate from evidence that its creator understands it.
His public work connects adult learning with professional verification: explaining decisions, inspecting real artifacts, testing claims, and keeping a person responsible for consequential calls. SayMake is a specific application for children, an AI-supported maker studio where young people turn their interests into real projects and practice choosing, building, testing, explaining, and improving. AI should scaffold thinking, not surrender it.
Before founding SayMake, Sunny spent two decades building software, data, and machine-learning systems at companies including Apple, Microsoft, and Salesforce. That systems-building experience informs his teaching, technical work, and advisory practice with human agency in mind.

Sunny also writes public frameworks for high-agency learning, develops open learning standards, and serves as Technical Advisor, Stealth — helping build and launch an affordable, competency-based approach to applied AI education.
Founder, SayMake · Former engineering leader at Apple, Microsoft, and Salesforce.
